Welcome to Champlain Discovery Public School!
It is my privilege to serve as the principal of this wonderful school community. Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, I extend a warm welcome on behalf of our staff. At CDPS, we are committed to providing a learning environment where every student feels safe, valued, and supported as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our school has a long and proud history in Pembroke. Many of our families have deep roots in the area, and it is not uncommon to meet parents and even grandparents who once attended CDPS themselves. This strong sense of tradition and community pride is part of what makes our school such a special place. Our dedicated staff work hard each day to uphold these values, offering engaging academic programs, fostering inclusivity, and modelling the character traits we hope to inspire in our students.
At Champlain Discovery, we believe education is a partnership. We encourage families to stay informed and connected by exploring our school website, checking our calendar for upcoming events, reviewing our guidelines and expectations, and browsing our photo gallery to see the many ways our students learn and lead. Throughout the year, we host a variety of activities, celebrations, and opportunities for involvement, and we are always grateful for the enthusiasm and support of our families.
As we continue to build on our rich history, our focus remains on creating a learning environment where students can discover their strengths, challenge themselves, and become confident, caring citizens. I am incredibly proud of our students and staff, and I look forward to working together to make this year a safe, positive, and successful experience for all.
