The winners of the Nutrition Month colouring contest are:  Abby Stitt, Mieka Dupuis, Kyrah Tardif, Maggie Innes and Jordan Plumb.  Thank you to everyone who entered their pictures!

Our first "Big Crunch"  event was a great success!  Thank you to all students and staff who brought in apples and "Crunched" together!  This activity helps to raise awareness for our locally grown produce in Ontario.

The Champlain Healthy School Program hosted a "Girls Night" on Friday, March 21st.  This event was open to girls from grades 5 to 8.  We had a great evening and lots of fun!  Activities included cooking, Zumba, tye dye t-shirts,  manicures and bracelet making.  A big thank you to Sheri Waterfall (parent volunteer), Natalie Martin (Champlain Healthy School Coordinator), Jenn Gerroir (Zumba Instructor), Amy Cybulski (volunteer) , Jenna Latiok (volunteer) and many other staff who helped to make this night a success.

Thank you to Jennifer Renauld - Scentsy Rep. and Sherry Lepage - J&S Fine Silverware for their donation of door prizes.

Champlain Discovery Public School is excited to announce that we have been approved for a grant through the Food for Learning program.  This funding will assist us to continue with our Breakfast Club program and fruit baskets.
